Dr Yu Wang
Chemist
As a trainee patent attorney at Maiwald, Yu Wang’s responsibilities include German and European patent prosecution, particularly matters related to the protection and enforcement of IP rights in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics and chemistry. Her professional expertise was acquired in the course of her research activities at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. While working on her dissertation there she developed and established the application of a microfluidic detection system for characterizing biochemical processes.
Yu is co-author of several scientific publications in the areas of lab-on-a-chip, biophysical and biochemical analytics. She also has a grounding Chinese patent protection law.
