Annelie Wünsche advises and represents companies in prosecuting patent and utility model applications and defending and challenging acquired IP rights in the areas of biochemistry, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. In particular, she advises and supports public research institutes and biotechnology companies in building patent portfolios and advises generics companies on market entry. Further key activities relate to the support of due diligence projects and the acquisition of supplementary protection certificates.
Annelie spent several months on secondment to a publicly listed biotechnology company in helping establish a patent portfolio in the area of immune therapy. Before entering the world of patent law, she gained valuable experience in industry from working in a pharma concern in the field of therapeutic antibodies, and in an optics and medical technology concern developing microscopy software.
