Dr Melanie Hacker

Melanie Hacker is a patent attorney at Maiwald. Her professional activities include obtaining, defending, enforcing and challenging intellectual property rights in the fields of chemistry and pharmaceuticals, construction chemistry and plant protection. Her main tasks involve drafting and processing patent applications relating to small molecules and organic synthesis.
In the course of her doctoral research, Melanie acquired specialized knowledge in the fields of organic chemistry, in particular colloid chemistry. While studying for her doctoral degree, she gained valuable international experience through attending conferences in Istanbul, Weimar, Berlin and the USA.
