Maiwald offers part of its office space to Munich volunteer organisation as a coordination hub for Ukrainian refugees

The patent attorneys’ firm of Maiwald has put part of its Munich office space at the disposal of the organisation “Münchner Freiwillige – Wir helfen e.V.” to use as a contact point for refugees fleeing Ukraine. From rooms in Elisenhof, located very close to Munich’s central station, the association is helping to link up refugees with ordinary citizens willing to provide accommodation to refugees in their homes.

Thanks to the open-hearted response of the people of Munich, the organisers have already succeeded in placing a large number of the refugees in private homes.

After registering via the website www.muenchner-freiwillige.de, volunteers can get involved in the work of the organisation in its current location in Prielmayerstrasse.

People who are willing and able to offer accommodation to refugees can also do so via the organisation’s website under the following link: Sie haben eine temporäre Unterkunft für Ukraine-Flüchtlinge?

Accommodation for more than 7 people is especially welcome. Anyone who can offer such accommodation can contact us at the following e-mail address: Ukraine.soz@München.de
