Achieving a common defense strategy in patent litigation against non-practicing entities

Joint seminar of Unified Patents and Maiwald

We are pleased to host another broad panel discussion on collaborative strategies for patent litigation with non-practicing entities (NPEs). A particular feature of the NPE litigation is that competitors must quickly agree on a common and well-coordinated defense strategy.

At the global level, market-based solutions such as Unified Patents are very successful. What success can be expected from defensive and collaborative deterrence solutions in Germany and/or Europe?

Experts and specialists from both sides of the Atlantic will sound out how current and future tasks in NPE patent processes can be better solved.

Dr Simon Lud
Partner, Maiwald

Maiwald is pleased to once again discuss the emerging challenges companies in Europe and Germany face from NPEs and lessons learnt from successful US approaches.
