Our office will continue operating normally even in the event of quarantine restrictions becoming necessary.
Due to current developments and the rapid spread of the corona virus (COVID-19), Maiwald has drawn up an action and emergency plan to protect the health and safety of our employees, clients, suppliers and other external contacts.
Our health and safety measures are based on the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute, the Department of Health and Environment Munich and the health authorities of the Free State of Bavaria. Our overriding concern is to prevent the further spread of the novel virus and to ensure the protection of our colleagues and outside contacts against the risk of infection.
We are doing our utmost to guarantee the smooth operation of business and uninterrupted provision of services. To this end, we have undertaken numerous technical and organizational steps to enable us to maintain business operations even in the event of more far-reaching quarantine restrictions. These include as far as possible avoiding business trips, and postponing official hearings and business meetings for as long as the situation warrants.
In the unlikely event that our offices in Munich and/or Düsseldorf may have to close temporarily or for a longer period in order to comply with health and safety regulations, our IT and communications systems ensure that we can work remotely and continue operations externally without interruption.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will announce updates or changes to our policies and practices as appropriate. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions regarding the measures taken.
