We are pleased to announce that our colleague Dr Stefanie Parchmann, a partner at our firm, has been newly appointed to one of the Examination Committees of the European Qualifying Examination (EQE). The European Qualifying Examination is undertaken by candidates wishing to be admitted as professional representative of applicants, patentees and opponents in proceedings before the European Patent Office. It is preceded by at least three years of training, and is widely regarded as one of the most demanding professional examinations.
