INTA Seminar for Paralegals 2026 in Munich

Maiwald Sponsors Successful INTA Seminar for Paralegals 2026 in Munich

On 2 July 2026, the INTA Seminar for Paralegals 2026, organized by the International Trademark Association (INTA), took place at the Literaturhaus in Munich. Maiwald was proud to support the event as a sponsor and co-organizer, welcoming trademark professionals and industry representatives for a day of knowledge sharing and networking.

With around 70 participants, primarily from leading companies such as Paul Hartmann, Ferrero, BMW, Kneipp, Birkenstock, Audi, Roche, Syngenta, Rheinmetall AG and Omya, the seminar provided an excellent forum for exchanging practical experience and discussing current developments in trademark practice.

The program featured presentations by experts from the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), Paul Hartmann, Ferrero, CSC and other organizations. Topics included the classification of goods and services, centralized trademark portfolio management, brand protection, and recent legal, practical and digital developments in trademark procedures.

A special thank you goes to our Senior Paralegal Susanne Ferstl, who organized and moderated the seminar together with Anke Heilmann (Kneipp GmbH). We are also delighted that our partner Susanna Heurung contributed to the program with a presentation on current trademark law developments.

The consistently positive feedback from participants and the many discussions during the breaks and networking lunch highlighted the importance of bringing together trademark professionals from industry, public authorities and private practice. Events like these play a valuable role in strengthening professional networks and fostering the exchange of practical expertise.

We would like to thank the International Trademark Association (INTA), all speakers—including our fellow sponsor CSC—and all participants for making this event such a great success.
