Simone is a trainee patent attorney at Maiwald. Her work focuses on intellectual property protection in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry and pharmacy. While working on her doctorate in the field of organic chemistry, she researched autocatalytic systems, their mechanisms and principles. In addition to a sound knowledge of organic synthesis and organometallic catalysis, Simone also developed expertise in various analytical methods such as chromatography, NMR and mass spectrometry.
