MAxL Build Your Bioventure Series: IP in Collaboration & Licensing Agreements for Start‑ups

On April 15th 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, our colleagues Dr. Annelie Wünsche and Dr. Christian Pisani will contribute as speakers to a seminar on IP strategy in collaborative settings at the MAxL Meeting Room in Martinsried (BioM Biotech Cluster Development GmbH).

The program is aimed at early‑stage companies, founders and researchers and examines practical aspects of structuring collaboration and licensing agreements. Using a case study, the session will address:

• how to align patenting strategies before and during cooperation,
• freedom‑to‑operate and IP ownership structures,
• protection of data and know‑how,
• design of royalty and governance models and exit scenarios,
• preparation of the IP setup for due diligence.
