Tyra Christian

German and European Patent Attorney Trainee

M.Sc. Molecular Biotechnology

Tyra Christian is currently training as a patent attorney at Maiwald.  Her work focuses on the protection of intellectual property in the fields of molecular biology, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. She completed her master’s degree at the University of Heidelberg, where her research activities were primarily dedicated to the study of active substances. She took part in several research placements, during which she deepened her knowledge in areas such as epigenetics, infectious diseases and pharmaceutical chemistry. Her master’s thesis investigated organic and inorganic delivery systems for the administration of oral vaccines.

Tyra has presented her research findings at national and international conferences.
