Christoph Seifert is currently a patent attorney trainee at Maiwald. His areas of expertise in the field of intellectual property protection include chemistry, biochemistry and pharmacy. While pursuing his doctorate in prebiotic chemistry, he conducted simulation experiments on the synthesis of the first amino acid-modified nucleosides on early Earth during which he acquired particular expertise in organic synthesis, biomimetic reactions and the analysis of complex reaction mixtures, as well as in various chromatography analysis methods, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Christoph’s research findings have been published in prestigious journals, and he has also presented them at international conferences in Germany and the USA.
