Biochemist

Anja is a trainee patent attorney at Maiwald, where her work concerns intellectual property protection in the fields of biotechnology, biochemistry and chemistry.

As part of her doctoral research she investigated protein-protein interactions and protein expression levels in human and bacterial cell lines with the aid of mass spectrometry and bioinformatic analysis methods.  In the course of this work, she acquired extensive expertise in the field of biological and bioorganic chemistry.

Anja is first author of several scientific publications in the field of biological and bioorganic chemistry. She has also presented parts of her research results at international conferences in the USA and Austria.
