After working for a time as an architect with various project planning and development companies among others, she embarked on a career as patent attorney. She qualified as a German patent attorney in 2006 and as a European patent attorney in 2008. She joined Maiwald in the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides having specialized knowledge of the technologies of building materials and building structures, Susanne Schmitz also possesses in-depth knowledge in a wide variety of other technical fields, including the automotive sector, powertrain and engine technology as well as medical technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Susanne&#8217;s work is primarily focused on patent prosecution, but also extends to trademarks and design rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Susanne Schmitz has been a valued member of our engineering team for many years.
