Maiwald is mandated by Unified Patents, LLC, located in the USA. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unified Patents is a member-based organization whose goal is to prevent aggressive patent assertions by non-practicing entities (NPEs) in certain technology areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Simon Lud and his team is instructed to handle the litigation on behalf of Unified Patents against EP-patents of NPEs in Europe in the field of video codec technologies.
