Ines Pfaffeneder is a patent attorney and chemist. She is particularly interested in organic chemistry, which explains her decision to focus on total synthesis and catalytic evaluations during numerous internships, including one at the University of British Columbia, while pursuing her master’s degree. Her doctoral research concerned the organic synthesis of hypermodified tRNA nucleosides and prebiotic synthesis of purine nucleosides.
