Protection and enforcement of software inventions in DE, KR, and the US

Our series of events on the protection of new technologies was continued on June 27, 2019 by a seminar on the protection and enforcement of software inventions in Germany, Korea, and the USA at our offices in Munich. Dr-Ing. Sophie Ertl opened the event and welcomed the numerous guests. Stefan Bianchin spoke about German case law regarding the infringement of standards-essential patents, followed by a lecture by Daeho Lee, a Korean patent attorney, on the patent protection of software and AI inventions. The seminar was successfully rounded out by James A. Flight, US Patent Attorney,  with his overview of the patentability of software inventions in the USA. We are delighted to have had Mr. Lee from the law firm of PI IP Law and Mr. Flight from the law firm of Hanley, Flight & Zimmerman LLC as speakers, and we sincerely thank them once again for their support.

We look forward to and enjoy the subsequent reception on our rooftop terrace and the opportunity to make new contacts and maintain existing ones.

We are very pleased about the great popularity of the event series and will inform you soon about further dates.
