As part of her doctoral thesis at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, she investigated a cell nuclear membrane protein in living cells using, among other methods, mass spectrometry and quantitative microscopy. There she also worked on the development of software to automate the microscopic processes used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Annelie W\u00fcnsche completed her patent attorney training at Maiwald and has been working as a patent attorney at the firm since 2014. She advises and helps public research institutes and biotechnology companies in building up their patent portfolios and advises manufacturers of generic drugs planning on entering the market. Further key areas are assistance with due diligence projects and obtaining supplementary protection certificates.
