Andreas Ledl

Andreas Ledl was born in Munich in 1974 and studied biochemistry at the Univer­sity of Regensburg and the Wesleyan University (CT, USA). He completed his studies with a diploma thesis at the Institute for Biophysics and Physi­cal Biochemistry at the University of Regensburg in 2001.

He subsequently joined Stefan Müller´s group at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried in the department of Stefan Jentsch, where he worked on the posttranslational ubiquitin-like SUMO modification and its function in the control of tumour suppressor pathways. He obtained his PhD in 2006.

Andreas Ledl joined the Munich office of Maiwald Patentanwalts GmbH in October 2006. He passed the German patent bar examination and the European Qualifying Examination in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Andreas Ledl is admitted to practice as a German patent attorney and as a European patent attorney since 2010.

Andreas Ledl speaks German and English.

His main focus is on German and international patent law in the fields of biochemistry, chemistry and pharmaceutics.
